Yet another day

sigh.. work in like 9 and a half hours time.. my off day was pretty quite unproductive but it was okay.. played basketball till 8 sumthin.. came home, ate sandwiches for dinner(yea they tasted great) anyway gotta sleep early for work 2morrow.. looking forward to cutting lenses for customers tomorrow.. Its really interesting.. hmm probably i should list out the things that we(england optical group) do everyday.

1.1st things 1st.. Open up the shutters,on the lights,time in for our attendance and
etc...
2.Sweep and mop the floor, clean the glass for the table showcase.
3.Count stock for the sunglasses and frames.. (the most mafan thing we have to do).
4.Fax RR(name of customers document) checking form to our Lab(JM optical) which is
located in Puchong.
5.After receiving back the fax from our Lab, we have to check with our lab book as well.. where we keep record of what goes in and what goes out from our shop.
6.After stock counting, we have to check from our sales report on how many frames or sunglasses came in or out. Then we update in the stock count report. It's to keep track of necessary data.
7.If our lab sends back frames or sunglasses, we have to follow up with customers who ordered by calling them up.
8.The record of our sales must also be recorded to see the percentage of how much commission we will receive.

These are the few equipments we are trained to use : -
- eye tester machine (not sure what are the name of all these machines) Lol
- lens power indicator
- lens grinding machine

What we are thought to do : -
- identify different types of lenses that are available and the prices.
- fix, tighten and make adjustments.

so basically working in an optical shop ain't so easy as it seems :) if there is anything you guys wanna know,

Life is a vicious cycle

Every since I started working, my life has been a routine.. wake up,brush teeth,take a bath, work, come back..online and sleep.. then I'm back to the beginning.. ._. oh well.. anyway life has been good today.. tiring as usual but nevertheless interesting and fruitful. Sales was woot!! not bad for a normal sales month.. bumped into some familiar faces.. my pants got ripped.. ._. sigh* obstacles of working life..eating too much.. lmao.. lotsa stuff happening between colleagues..its a dog eat dog world out there.. hmm.. anyway all that starts well.. ends well too.. okies.. off to bed to continue my vicious cycle. toodles

England Optical Group

Voilà!
In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. It is I, Ser Yuean, which humbly reappears to the world of my blog. Well as you've all know.. I've been slacking at home for the past 6 months when I finally decided to get my big bum to go out and make full use of myself. Well so that was what I did.. it took me about almost 1 - 2 months running here and there to job interviews from KL, Damansara, so on and so forth hoping to get a job and get some money home. Well finally after much waiting and little effort.. thanks to Jed, I've got a new and my first job in England Optical Group. At first when I got the news that I was able to get the job, knowing myself, it took a while to hit me on the head that I was gonna work like in a few days time.. O.o well.. anyway so much for the update.. lols well there will be more updates coming up soon.. and some pictures too ^^ Cheers!
